Everything was good today. I was worried first thing as my toes were hurting and my knee was stopping me from walking properly.
A bit later, pain killers kicked in, toes all strapped up, and everything was fine. The walk was nice and easy, every step wasn’t painful, I was glad to be walking again. I started to not want it to end.
Views were very different but still nice and also I noticed, just before hitting Richmond, the low land that I’ve got to cover tomorrow followed by the North Yorkshire Moors. I’m not sure if you can see it from this picture.
It’s quite distinctive the change in the landscape as it goes from low to high again.
I’m staying in a pub garden tonight. They’re really friendly and have given me takeaway menus to order from – so a bit like being on a night shift (the menus, not the pub).
And one final image of me looking like a tramp in Richmond
