Piles of rock lead the way (sometimes)

In this case I think they’re correct.

Just did what I thought was proper climbing. Maybe not to a climber but it was to me. A little scary with my rucksack. Saying that, if I can do it anyone can.

I think I’m on there somewhere.

Late Day

So the climb was bigger than expected. I really should have done more research! Very windy at the top as well. The views at the top were nice though.

I didn’t make it to the campsite until 8:30pm so missed dinner but had a Magnum ice cream and 2 packets of crisps for tea (I couldn’t be bothered to cook). Nice showers here though – ones with a tap and not those annoying push button ones that switch off every 30 seconds.

I need to stop ended each day’s walk so late.

Onto Shap tomorrow. I’m hoping they have shops as I’m running out of snacks.
